Hypnotherapy
Cognitive
Hypnotherapy works to change anything that is affecting you or that is
limiting or holding you back. It can be enormously frustrating when you
want something to be different or to stop but you don’t know how to do
it. However, we will focus on a personalised approach that works for
you enabling you to take control.
This form of therapy works
from an understanding of the mind and of the mind-body connection based
on modern neuro-science. The approach uses insights and tools from a
range of psychological and therapeutic disciplines often combined with
hypnosis to help make positive, long lasting changes.
Cognitive
hypnotherapy is a creative and productive process that can make a
difference surprisingly quickly. The ability to control emotional
responses and create new connections allows new learnings, abilities

About me
I work
by combining two of the most clinically proven therapeutic techniques
available, cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis. Drawing
on recent discoveries and ideas from Evolutionary Psychology, Cognitive
Theory, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Transactional Analysis
I incorporate them into a modern idea of hypnosis to provide a
framework for therapy. This is assimilated within the approaches of the
most effective hypnotherapists of the last 50 years, including Milton
Erickson, Gil Boyne, Stephen Wolinsky, Rubin Battino and Tad James.
Therapy
will be both problem and solution based, challenging any limiting
beliefs or negative emotions by using a range of techniques that can
promote permanent shifts in your
perception. I
can ensure you that I use the most effective techniques available and
to always treat you professionally, ethically and competently.
I trained at the Quest
Institute,
Regents College, London and qualified as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist
under an examination externally
validated by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the
independent accrediting body, the NCFE. I am a fully qualified member
of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and comply with their
code of ethics and public protection policies.I am a qualified Neuro
Linguistic Programming Practitioner and qualified in EFT (Emotional
Freedom Technique).
